CryptoDad exists to help the next generation see money not as a mystery or a gamble, but as a system they can understand and question. I’m a dad and a tech professional living in the middle of a massive shift in how value moves—through crypto, stablecoins, and new digital rails—and I’m here not to tell my kids what to invest in, but to help them recognize the structures behind their everyday financial lives.
This site is about learning to ask better questions:
Who built this system? What problem is it solving? Where are the risks and guardrails? How does it affect access, fairness, and transparency for regular people?
As my teenage and young adult children grow into a world where “money” is increasingly code, networks, and algorithms, my hope is that they—and you—will have the language and understanding to navigate it thoughtfully. Not to chase the latest trend, but to make informed, humane, and responsible choices in a society where every dollar is part of a larger story.

Stash Stock Party

In 2020, I compiled a stock index based on all the free stock the Stash Stock Party gave away. Most stocks were given away at a value of less than a dollar. I added a little more to what I got for free and have been tracking the "index" for the last few years to see how the class of 2020 performs for the long haul.
